Capital and market risk
Digital assets and prediction markets can move quickly. Strategies may lose some or all committed capital, and simulated or historical results do not predict future performance.
Execution and liquidity risk
Orders can be rejected, delayed, partially filled or filled at different prices. A failed second leg can create directional exposure.
Fees and infrastructure risk
Trading fees, gas, withdrawal charges and slippage can remove expected edge. APIs, WebSockets, RPC services, networks and servers can fail or return stale data.
Settlement risk
Platforms may use different rules, sources, decision times or exception handling and can therefore settle similar markets differently.
